Pankoddhar Ekadashi

The Ekadashi of the dark fortnight of Phalguna is widely known as Vijaya Ekadashi, a day of Lord Vishnu linked with victory and success. Tradition says Lord Rama kept this fast before crossing the ocean to Lanka. Devotees fast, worship Vishnu and stay awake through the night in prayer.
